Not What You Want To Hear From Your 3B
March 30th, 2008 | by Frank |Can I just say, first of all-no matter how awful the Nats end up being this year…
I’m sure that THIS is not going to get old any time this summer. A little time at the beach, and a little time here…heaven.
Don’t believe me, just ask (will be an All-Star one day) Third Baseman Ryan Zimmerman:
Fans aren’t the only ones enjoying the amenities of the stadium. The players are, too, as they discovered all that was available to them in the clubhouses. “There’s lots of entertainment, lots of stuff to do,” Ryan Zimmerman said. “This will help us get through a long season.” [Emphasis Added]. link.
Sheesh, Ryan. I don’t think we’ll be above .500 this year, but I wasn’t going to put a damper like that on it before the season got started.
Here’s the starting line-up. Belliard and Johnson are going to get the start 1B and 2B, over Young and Lopez who will ride the pine to begin the season. Don’t worry though, as Zim pointed out, it’s a long season. They’ll get on the field.
Play Ball!
