Because I needed to kill more time
February 27th, 2007 | by Frank |So you like Fantasy sports? Or maybe you like gossip columns and T.V. shows? Wish you could combine the two?
I built my fantasy list, and did get my number 2 pick (I wanted to go with Brit #1 over all), and a couple of other sleepers. Why did I choose who I chose?:
1.) Anna Nicole Smith-Her body may be gone, but her press lives on.
2.) Donald Trump-He’s due to be at Wrestlemania, where he will probably end up getting his head shaved. That’s worth some press.
3.) Will Ferrell-New movie coming.
4.) Bridget Moynahan-Tom Brady’s BabyMomma and an actress. I thought this story might get more involved.
5.) Christina Aguilera-She doesn’t get into a lot of trouble, but she does sing and get press anyway. She’s got some points in her, I’m sure.
6.) Beyonce-I expected her to win an Oscar for a song, and thought there would be more press coming out of that. Now, maybe it’s a bit of a weak pick at #5.
7.) Howard K. Stern-Sort of a scrub pick up, doubling on some of the points with Anna Nicole. Probably could have done better, but the people got a little thin at this point.
8.) Daniel Radcliffe-Harry Potter is growning into a good looking young man, and he’s about to turn 18. That usually means some sort of drunken romp.
9.) Sylvester Stallone-Rambo is coming out later, but I could see him saying or doing something stupid soon.
10.) Fergie-No, not Sir Alex Ferguson…but that chick from the Black Eyed Peas. I hate her, but she was at the bottom of the list and the computer took her. ugh.
The season goes for three weeks, so I’ll be checking in with how my team does, and where we finish in the league. If you decide to join, look me up
